Aden Flint: We dealt well with the pressure
Fulham Reaction | Flint
Following City’s 1-1 draw against Fulham on Friday night, Aden Flint spoke with the assembled press to reflect on an eventful match in the Welsh capital.
“I’m a little bit disappointed really, because I think we worked incredibly hard tonight against a good team,” began the centre-back.
“We got the goal, which we worked really hard towards, and then we conceded right away, which was the most disappointing thing.
“We talked about it at half-time and I think that we dealt well with the pressure, to be honest. We rode the storm a couple of times in the first half as well as the second, but I think that we handled it well.”
Cardiff City will head into the international break with eight points taken from six matches so far in their 2019/20 Sky Bet Championship campaign. Reflecting on City’s run of form in recent matches – with the Bluebirds continuing their unbeaten home streak, Flint concluded: “It’s a good point in the right going into the international break.
“I think we’ve put a little run together, now that we’re unbeaten in three league games. Now we can recharge our batteries and go again.”
