COVID Status

As of Wednesday, December 15th, by law, supporters aged 18 and over who wish to attend high-capacity events in England (over 10,000) will be required to display their COVID status before entry.

This status may be shown in several ways:

• A digital solution such as the NHS COVID Pass or EU equivalent.

• A digital or paper-based certificate of vaccination.

• Confirmation of a negative lateral flow test (LFT) result by text or email (within 24 hours of kick-off).

Getting to Ashton Gate

By Car: The car journey from Cardiff City Stadium to Ashton Gate will take approximately one hour, via the M4, M49 and A4. The sat-nav postcode is BS3 2LQ.

By Train: Direct services run from Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads, with a journey time of between 44 minutes to one hour. Upon arrival into Bristol, the stadium is 11 minutes away by car, or 45 minutes on foot.

By Bus: From Temple Meads Train Station, take the AG3 bus service direct to Ashton Gate. From the M4 Portway Park and Ride site, take the AG1 service.

Car Parking

Bedminster Cricket Club (BS3 2JX) is just a 10 minute walk from the ground. Spaces are offered on a first come first serve basis with a small fee per car. 

DJ Parking (BS3 2HA) operates from Ashton Vale Trading Estate situated five minutes from Ashton Gate. Spaces are offered on a first come first serve basis with a charge of £7 per car.

50 car parking spaces are also available at 122 Cumberland Road, BS1 6UN, on a first come first serve basis. There is a charge of £10 per car, with all proceeds being donated to the Grand Appeal, which raises money for children's hospitals across the UK. The car park is 15-20 minutes walk away from Ashton Gate.

There is a Park & Ride site close to the M4 at Portway that drops off at the stadium. This service is also popular with home fans.
