Bulut pre-Coventry City | It is another strong test

Interviews
The Gaffer spoke to cardiffcityfc.co.uk to preview Tuesday evening's clash with Coventry City.

The boss began with an injury update.

"We have a few knocks that we need to manage, and we have to make sure the lads have all recovered. We already have a number of players missing and we don't take any unnecessary risks when it comes to managing our players.

"That may mean we make 2/3 changes for the Coventry City match. But we'll be ready."

It's been a quick turnaround for City, following Saturday evening's incredible South Wales derby win over Swansea City.

Erol added: "Derbies are always different and especially when you have a record like ours have been recently.

"It was really special for me, our staff, players, all at the Club, and the City.

"It was also an important win for us with regards to the table situation. It was important we got those three points. I'm really happy about that and the fact our players gave everything out there.

"I enjoyed the game and afterwards, but not for long because we were straight into preparation for this one. We're always still working."

Coventry City come into the game having drawn their last four fixtures. They reached the Championship play-off final last season, under the tutelage of current manager Mark Robins.

"They're a good team," said Bulut. "They have a strong squad that have played together for a couple of years now, with only a few new players added.

"It will be another difficult game. Against Hull City, they led for a long time, before conceding late on.

"We're expecting another strong test, and we'll be prepared for that."

Erol finished with a word on the Bluebirds support, who turned out in their numbers on Saturday night, helping the Club to that impressive win.

He concluded: "The fans were unbelievable against Swansea. We showed how strong we are with our fans alongside us. They're always great though, and I'm looking forward to another great atmosphere against Coventry City."
