Community
We're proud to announce that 25,000 attendances have been recorded at Cardiff City FC Foundation projects so far this academic year.

The Foundation’s coaches, mentors and tutors have been working in schools and community venues across Cardiff and the South Wales Valleys to support children, young people, and families to achieve their full potential.

One of the schools which benefits from our support is Penllwyn Primary School in Caerphilly.

8-year-old, Morgan said: "I love football and I love Cardiff City. We’ve been working on our communication skills and teamwork.”

Headteacher at Penllwyn Primary, Mrs. Emma Jones, said: “The pupils have really enjoyed the activities so far this year. They’ve taken part in football activities, developed new skills, and improved their attitude to learning. Thank you, Cardiff City!”

Foundation Director, Gavin Hawkey, said: “We’re on course for another great year. Our communities need our support now more than ever, and our team is doing an amazing job tackling the impact of inequalities through football.”
