Community
On Sunday 27th March, a group of Cardiff City supporters ran over 13 miles in the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise vital funds for Cardiff City FC Foundation.

The Foundation would like to offer a huge thank you to everyone who signed up to represent them, and are grateful for your support.

So far, the runners have raised a remarkable £3,100 that will go towards supporting children, young people and families across South Wales achieve their full potential.

This was the first time that Cardiff City’s official mascot Bartley Bluebird ran on behalf of the Foundation, completing the race in just over two and a half hours.

Foundation Director, Gavin Hawkey, said: “We’re so grateful for everyone who took part in Cardiff Half and raised money to support children, young people and families, also to those who donated and have given us the opportunity to continue our work in Cardiff City communities. Thank you to you all.”

Congratulations to all that took part once again, and thank you so much for your support.

Places are available to represent us at the next Cardiff Half Marathon October as well as our other 10K races in 2022, find out more by clicking here.
