HUDDERSFIELD REACTION | ROBERT GLATZEL

Forward Robert Glatzel spoke to the press after coming off the substitutes bench to net City's third goal in the 3-0 triumph over Huddersfield Town.

“It was again a good team performance from us,” Glatzel began. “Back-to-back very good, deserved wins.

"They had a lot of possession in the first 20/30 minutes. We had a good shape though. We threatened a lot. It was a deserved win, I think. We feel very good after two wins at home and without conceding a goal.

"The Championship is a very hard league and we have to keep fighting and not think that just because of those two wins that everything will be easy now.

"There are going to be a lot of tough challenges coming soon so we have to prepare for that."

It was Glatzel's first goal of the current campaign, but rather than taking credit, the forward heaped praise on Sheyi Ojo's assist and the performance of fellow forwards Kieffer Moore & Mark Harris.

“It was a great ball from Sheyi. It was a two-touch finish and I was happy to score.

“As forwards, we have a good, professional relationship. You can see everybody is happy for each other. I was very happy for Sparky (Mark Harris) to get his first professional goal for us (on Saturday) and I’m happy for Kieffer doing so well.

“Kieffer is doing great. I hope he continues to do great for us because he’s a very good player and he’s very important for us.

“It’s not easy. Of course you always want to play. It’s not easy sitting on the bench most of the time.

“But you have to accept it and accept the challenge. I have to keep working hard and wait for my chance.”

He concluded, discussing Cardiff: “It feels like my second home now. I love the team and I love the City. It’s a new culture but I enjoy being here very much.

“Already, it has been a great experience for me. I just hope I can give back more on the field.”
