Yakou Méïté and Erol Bulut...

It was a second consecutive away match for the Bluebirds, and boss Erol Bulut chose to make two changes to his line-up for this one. Callum Robinson and Yakou Méïté came into the starting XI, replacing Ryan Wintle and Iké Ugbo.

Robinson marked his first Championship start of the season with a goal inside the opening two minutes. Méïté and Josh Bowler combined well in the build-up, with Bowler crossing into Robinson. The Republic of Ireland international deftly back-heeled towards goal, with the ball taking a deflection and hitting the net.

Dimi Goutas and Manolis Siopis...

City continued their excellent display looking for more goals. Méïté, Karlan Grant, Bowler and Robinson caused trouble throughout.

Bulut's side grabbed a third goal with 43 minutes on the clock. It was another Ralls corner kick, with Méïté this time deservedly scoring his first City goal, lashing in at close range.

Darren Moore's side came out for the second half determined to reduce the deficit, but Cardiff City held strong, and even managed to increase their advantage ten minutes into the half.

Perry Ng showed his incredible set piece technique last season, starting against Birmingham City, and he stepped up once again in a remarkable way. City's No.38 hit a brilliant dipping free-kick to add a fourth goal and give Bulut's men full control of the encounter.
