Morison post-Peterborough | The most complete performance

Interviews
Steve Morison spoke to the press at Cardiff City Stadium following the Bluebirds’ 4-0 victory over Peterborough United on Wednesday evening.

Goals from Joe Ralls, Aden Flint, Jordan Hugill and Uche Ikpeazu secured City’s third Championship win on the bounce.

“It’s the most complete performance of the season,” began Steve. “We controlled the game without the ball really well, then when we got our moments, we were spot on.

“To a man, we were top drawer, it was a good night and we’re now 12 points above the bottom three.

“We had fresh legs for this one and the players were excellent: it shows you where I want to take this Club and how it looks on the pitch on a weekly basis.”

Steve went on to praise the squad, with special words for Cody Drameh, before mentioning Rallsy’s celebration in support of captain Sean Morrison, who is on the road to recovery.

“They’ve all shone in their own way within a great team effort,” he continued. “Cody Drameh was outstanding, how quickly he covers ground, he makes those moments look easy and with the end product, he’s calm.

“Isaak Davies very quickly is getting to that level, he was excellent, everything about his performance was fantastic. It was fitting that Rallsy scored the first goal and held the shirt up for Moz.

“Loads of positives, but the Championship is amazing and we have to go again in just over 48 hours.”
