Ralls pre-Bristol City | Three massive points up for grabs

BRISTOL CITY PREVIEW | JOE RALLS

Joe Ralls spoke to the press ahead of the weekend's Severnside derby at Bristol City.

The midfielder has started all three matches for City since football's return.

“It is going to be strange without any fans,” Joe began. I hope it still has that derby element to it. It’s a massive three points up for grabs for both sides.

“I’m sure it’ll be a good contest.”

He added: “Ultimately everyone wants the fans there. We’re well aware the supporters are watching at home. It is up to us to go out there and put a performance in.

“We’ll be looking to go to Bristol City on Saturday and try and kick on with another win."

Injury has curtailed his campaign at times, but City's No.8 has managed seven goals in 21 Championship appearances this season.

“I’ve had a few little niggles this season that have kept me out of action," Joe continued. "In that sense the break has probably been a blessing for me - to get myself properly sorted.

"This is probably the best I’ve felt physically in a long time. The long lay off was strange - but the boys put the work in during the off time.

“Since we’ve been back, the training has been good too and that shows in the start we’ve had. The squad is looking really good. We’ve got a big squad as well and that will help in the coming games.

“There is plenty of football still to be played and we’re going to need plenty more wins.

“Hopefully we can stay in the play-off spots, and then it is anyone's to take.”
