Rubin Colwill signs a new deal

We're delighted to announce that midfielder Rubin Colwill has signed a new contract with Cardiff City Football Club.

Colwill's latest agreement will run until the summer of 2024.

The 19-year-old, who joined City initially at the age of just eight, has enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2021. Since impressing Mick McCarthy in his opening training session at the Club, Rubin has made his competitive debut, enjoyed his first start for City and earned a place in Wales' EURO 2020 squad, picking up his maiden cap against France in June.

"It's been an unbelievable year, but I'm looking forward to the future now," Rubin said after putting pen-to-paper.

"I'm going to keep working hard and I can't wait to see what is to come for me in a Cardiff City shirt!"
