Sabri Lamouchi celebrates at Rotherham United...

Sabri pre-Huddersfield Town | It'll be a tough game

Interviews
Sabri Lamouchi addressed the press ahead of Huddersfield Town's visit to Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday.

The Bluebirds will be reunited with a familiar face, with former City boss, Neil Warnock, leading the Terriers out.

"It will be tough," Sabri said. "They’ve had ten days to prepare for this game. They will be more fresh than us.

"They will be determined. We will probably need to make some changes, with fresh legs. We’ve played three games in the last ten days, and they’ve rested.

"Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City will be hoping they’ll open next season in the Championship.

"He’s doing a great job. The way they play and the desire to fight is absolutely different from earlier this season.

"The job done from Neil Warnock at Huddersfield Town is absolutely outstanding."

The City boss gave an update on his squad after Thursday evening's win at Rotherham United. Sabri continued: "Callum O’Dowda will miss out on the final two games with a concussion.

"Maybe Ryan Allsop won’t be available too. He’ll train, but it is likely we’ll start with Jak [Alnwick] again.

"My focus is to finish the home season with my players and our fans. Even if we don’t end up needing points, mathematically.

"My desire is to make my players proud of themselves and our supporters.

"It is our last game in Cardiff this season and the best way to finish at home is to win."
