Peter's to keep City fans fed at Hull

Local pie manufacturer & Family Stand sponsor Peter’s has vowed to keep the dedicated football fans at Cardiff City well fed as they make the 500-mile round-trip to Hull City this weekend.

Supporters traveling on official club coaches from the Cardiff City Stadium will be able to feast on a selection of Bedwas-baked savouries.

Peter’s Marketing Director Clare Morgan said: “This is a gift from one Premier team to another. As the official supplier we feel a responsibility to ensure the City fans are well fed not only in the stadium but as they travel across the UK to support their club at away games. We know the supporters are City’s twelfth man which is why we have decided to give away free pastries for selected matches, starting with the Hull City clash this weekend.”

Peter’s staff will meet supporters at the Cardiff City Stadium this Saturday at around 7.00am, handing freebies to those setting off on the official Cardiff City Supporters Club coaches. Up to 300 fans are expected to leave from the stadium.

Nic Heslop, Commercial Manager at Cardiff City Football Club said, “We are delighted to be teaming up with Peters once again to keep our supporters well fed during match days. Peter’s gesture to give away free pies to fans going to the Hull City match is absolutely fantastic and as a club we are extremely grateful, as I am sure the fans will be”.

To date, Peter’s has fed over 4,000 away day fans with their popular savoury pastries. Further “Feed the Fans” include the Norwich City, Liverpool and Manchester Utd games.
