Hey Junior Bluebirds! On Saturday, we’re back at Cardiff City Stadium to play against Manchester United!

This is the Bluebirds’ first match against the Red Devils since January 2014, when Cardiff City were last in the Premier League! With that in mind, let’s have a look at some facts about the two clubs!

Bartley's must-know facts for Cardiff City vs. Manchester United!

* Manchester United have won the Premier League a record 13 times! They most recently won the 2012-13 season.

* They’ve also won the top flight a record 20 times, starting with Division One in the 1907-08 season, finishing nine points above Aston Villa who were in second place.

* Wayne Rooney is Manchester United’s all-time top goalscorer. The forward scored 183 league goals in 393 appearances!

* Cardiff City’s longest serving manager of all time was Fred Stewart. He managed the Bluebirds for 22 years between 1911-1933, and under his management City won the FA Cup in 1927!

* Manchester United’s longest serving manager of all-time was Sir Alex Ferguson. He managed the club for 26 years between 1986-2013, during which time the Red Devils won all 13 of their Premier League titles!

* Old Trafford is Manchester United’s home ground, with a capacity of 75,653! The ground’s highest recorded attendance was 76,962, when Wolverhampton Wanderers played Grimsby Town in a 1939 FA Cup semi-final.

* Ryan Giggs is Manchester United’s most capped player of all time, appearing 963 times for the club! He played against his hometown club, Cardiff City, for the first time when we were last in the Premier League!

* Manchester United’s first match against Cardiff City happened on January 7th, 1922, in an FA Cup fixture. Cardiff City played at Old Trafford, and beat the Red Devils 4-1!

* Kim Bo-kyung is the latest Bluebird to have scored against Manchester United! The South Korean international scored a last minute equaliser in January 2014, securing a point for the Bluebirds.

* Players who have made appearances for both sides include Fraizer Campbell, Wilfired Zaha, and Federico Macheda.
