Sean Morrison has been included on the EFL's four-man shortlist for February's Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month Award.
He joins Neil Warnock in receiving EFL recognition for the Bluebirds' fine form in February.
The City captain was at his imperious best as he skippered the Bluebirds to four wins and a draw. He also chipped in with three headed goals in victories over Leeds United, Bolton Wanderers and Middlesbrough.
Morrison goes up against Tim Ream (Fulham), Billy Sharp (Sheffield United) and Oli McBurnie (Barnsley) in the running for the award.
The EFL said of the City centre-half: "The commanding leader of a Cardiff defence which conceded just two goals all month. Strong in the tackle, it is his power in the air which made the difference in both areas, scoring three goals in five games – all headers."
The winner of the award will be announced by the EFL on Friday, 9th March, 2018.
