Foundation | Bluebirds Home or Away Challenge!
Celebrate the restart of the Championship, support the boys, and make a difference in our communities by joining Cardiff City FC Foundation's team for the Bluebirds Home or Away Challenge.
With two parts of the challenge to choose, you can take on one yourself, or get your team together and tackle it as a squad.
Your support will help the Bluebirds charity continue to support children, young people and families to achieve their full potential, even during the pandemic, when the need for some of our services is rising.
Home – While supporters can't be at CCS this weekend, we're asking you or your team to complete 33,334 steps – one for each of our home stadium's seats! You can take steps or climb your stairs – it’s up to you!
Away – We can't get on the road either, but we can still support the boys by completing the distance virtually. There are three games to choose from and you can walk, run or cycle your way through the distance!
• Cardiff City Stadium to Deepdale Stadium (Preston North End) – 184 miles
• Cardiff City Stadium to Craven Cottage (Fulham) – 148 miles
• Cardiff City Stadium to Riverside Stadium (Middlesbrough) – 268 miles
With the Championship season re-starting on 20th June, and set to finish on 31st July, aim to complete your challenge during this time (although if you can’t fit it all in before then you can take as long as you need).
This is a virtual challenge, so please make sure that you follow government guidance around social distancing and keep yourself and others safe.
It’s free to register and we just ask that you pledge to raise £75 (or £140 if you’re part of a team!) for the Cardiff City FC Foundation.
Just send the Foundation proof of your completed challenge (photo of Strava, Garmin, phone or gym equipment) and they'll send you a medal and certificate!
Participants who register and raise funds on a JustGiving page by 31st July will be entered into a FREE prize draw to win a football signed by the Cardiff City FC first team (one for Home and one for Away challenge participants).
