Jack Bodenham, who has enjoyed a strong start to life on loan at Edgar Street

THE EMIRATES FA CUP

Jack Bodenham and Warren Burwood – Hereford FC

Warren Burwood joined Russell Slade’s side on a one-month loan on Friday, looking to provide quality back-up for in-form goalkeeper Brandon Hall. Burwood was an unused substitute in Hereford’s 5-2 victory on the weekend against Truro City in the Emirates FA Cup.

Defender Jack Bodenham appeared on two occasions for the Bulls in the past week, putting in an inspired performance at left-back in a 2-1 victory over Gateshead on Tuesday. Bodenham put in another impressive showing in defence against Truro City in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup on Saturday, playing for the full 90 minutes on both occasions.

The Bulls are next in action against Kettering Town this Saturday at Edgar Street, as the former City manager will be aiming to make strides to improve Hereford's position in the National League North table. For highlights of Hereford's most recent matches, click here.

Daniel Martin and Connor Davies – Weston Super-Mare

Daniel Martin also appeared in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup and in the league, as Weston Super Mare enjoyed a successful week. The Gulls drew 3-3 against Salisbury on Tuesday before progressing in the FA Cup with a 2-1 victory against Merthyr Town on Saturday.

Manager Scott Bartlett elected to start Martin in both matches, with the left-back putting in two solid performances against Salisbury and Merthyr Town respectively.

Connor Davies was an unused substitute for Weston Super Mare in both matches, having last appeared in a 2-1 defeat to Walton Casuals. The next match for Weston Super Mare is against Wimborne Town on Saturday, September 28th.

Dan Griffiths starring in an important win for Penybont...

CYMRU PREMIER LEAGUE

Dan Griffiths, Keenan Patten and Ryan Reynolds – Penybont FC

Forward Daniel Griffiths would net his second goal for Penybont FC on Saturday, as the Welsh forward helped his side to their first victory of the season – a 3-1 triumph over Airbus UK in the JD Cymru Premier. Click here to view Dan's goal!

Keenan Patten would also appear for the hosts at the Kymco Stadium, whilst defender Ryan Reynolds is currently rehabbing after injury.

Rhys Griffiths’ side will face Newtown in the Nathaniel MG Cup on September 24th, with their next league clash coming against Connah’s Quay Nomads on September 29th.

George Ratcliffe and Sion Spence – Barry Town United

Both George Ratcliffe and Sion Spence appeared for Barry Town United on Sunday, as Gavin Chesterfield’s side claimed a vital 1-0 victory against Cefn Druids at Jenner Park - climbing to 1st in the JD Cymru Premier table, above current champions, The New Saints.

Ratcliffe would record his second clean sheet of the campaign in league action, making a number of vital saves at Jenner Park, whilst Spence looked lively throughout the match. Their next fixture is a mouth watering clash against The New Saints this Saturday.

Mark Harris in action for Wales U21 vs. Germany recently...

THE NATIONAL LEAGUE

Mark Harris – Wrexham

Wales U21 international Mark Harris featured in the starting XI for Wrexham’s fixture against Aldershot Town on Saturday, making his tenth appearance of the season. The forward started brightly but was substituted in the 64th minute.

Bryan Hughes’ side eventually succumbed to a 1-0 defeat against the Shots, leaving his side sitting 21st in the league. The Red Dragons will look to bounce back against AFC Flyde at Mill Farm on Tuesday night.
