Mick McCarthy nominated for Feb Sky Bet Champ MOTM

Cardiff City FC boss Mick McCarthy has been nominated for the EFL's February Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award.

In his first full month in charge, Mick guided the Bluebirds to six wins and one draw from seven matches, picking up 19 points from an available 21. Wins over Bristol City, Rotherham United, Coventry City, Luton Town, Preston North End & Bournemouth helped City rise up the table.

Mick is up against Daniel Farke (Norwich City), Valérien Ismaël (Barnsley) & Mark Warburton (QPR) for the award, which is decided by former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.

The winner of the EFL's February Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award will be announced on Friday, 12th March!
