Moore post-Huddersfield | Two great results at home

Interviews

HUDDERSFIELD REACTION | MOORE

Kieffer Moore spoke exclusively to Cardiff City TV after the Bluebirds' 3-0 victory over Huddersfield Town.

The Welsh international's brace set City on their way to back-to-back wins but, speaking after the full-time whistle, Kieffer was full of praise for the group as a whole.

"We knew what we had to do and we all came together - staff, manager, players, everyone - and we ground out two great results at home," he said.

"We highlighted areas that we wanted to work on and I think we've implemented that really well, scoring seven goals in the last two games and keeping two clean sheets as well.

"That's really what we need to stick to now for the rest of the season and if we play along those lines, we'll do just great."

With Mark Harris and Robert Glatzel also on the score sheet in the past two games, City's no. 10 spoke highly of his fellow forwards, continuing: "I've seen Mark play a couple of times for the Wales U21s and he's obviously seen me play too.

"I think we've both got a good understanding of what each other like to do and I think we complement each other very well.

"You saw Bobby's goal when he came on too - he took it extremely well and it was a very good strike."

While CCS is a happy hunting ground for him, Kieffer's sights soon shifted towards Saturday's trip to Watford.

"I love it here and I've had some really good memories here, so long may it continue," he finished.

"Looking at Watford, you see the squad they have, they're a very good team and it's always going to be a hard task.

"But the squad we have is very good as well though. We have a great squad depth and I'm sure we'll give him a good game."
