Steve Morison on the touchline...

Morison pre-Luton | Another big challenge

Interviews
City boss Steve Morison spoke to the press on Monday morning, looking ahead to our midweek fixture with Luton Town.

Morro began with an injury update.

"Callum [O'Dowda] went off after the first half on Saturday," Steve said. "Tomorrow might come a little too soon for him, but we'll give him every opportunity. He'll definitely be alright by the weekend.

"Joel [Bagan] is back available now after concussion protocols."

The Bluebirds host a Luton side that have won once, drawn three times and lost twice from six Sky Bet Championship fixtures so far this term.

Steve continued: "They've signed really well this summer. They've got a good manager, that gets the best out of them. It's going to be one hell of a game.

"We watched them on Friday night against Sheffield United. It could've gone either way.

"They'll come here and they'll want to repeat the result they got here last year.

"For our boys, it's another challenge. It's a game where we have to stand up and be counted."
