Steve Morison discusses our fixture against Preston North End...

Morison pre-Preston | I'm expecting a tight game

Interviews
Cardiff City boss Steve Morison spoke to the press and media on Thursday, August 25th, previewing our upcoming home clash with Preston North End.

Morro began with an injury update ahead of the Lilywhites match.

“Joel [Bagan] will miss out this weekend," Steve said. "Seven days is the protocol for concussion, so Saturday comes too soon for him.

"Let’s hope we don’t lose whoever plays there in the first 10 minutes of the game.

"As of Sunday, Joel is back available. So it’s just coping for one match.

“Ebou [Adams] & Isaak [Davies] are still out too."

Preston North End visit South Wales having kept five shutouts in their opening five fixtures. The Lilywhites are yet to concede in league action, but have only scored once, recording four 0-0 draws and a single one-goal victory to date.

Steve continued: "The hardest thing to do in this league is keep clean sheets.

"They've been excellent. They're in and around us in all aspects, in terms of stats. I expect it to be a very tight game.

"Can we be the team who scores against them? Because if we do, it'll be interesting to see how they react off the back of that, because it hasn't happened to them yet.

"And then obviously we need to get back to being tight and not giving chances away and hopefully we can stop them scoring as well."
