Perry Ng arrives for training...

Ng pre-Watford | We need to build on the positives

Interviews
City’s No.38 Perry Ng was on pre-Watford press duties on Monday afternoon.

The defender returned to the side after injury during Saturday’s victory over Rotherham United.

“I’m ready to go,” Perry stated, when asked about his fitness. “I had a few little niggles that were annoying, but I feel good now. I’m ready to go again for these four big games coming up.

“I was gutted to miss the derby. I tried running the morning of the game, but it was more controlling the ball and passing where I wasn’t right. You can’t go into a big game like that half fit. I had to pull out in the end, which was unfortunate.

“We had a tough week, so it was nice to get a win on the weekend and start looking forward.”

Perry Ng claps the City support...

Ng helped City keep a seventh clean sheet of the campaign against the Millers. He added: “It was a good win. We dominated the whole game. The only negative is that we didn’t score more. But, overall, we were value for the victory.

“We’ll be aiming to make the most of the big games we have coming up before the international break.

“We’ve got another home game on Wednesday, and Cardiff is a tough place to come. Hopefully we can get another win under our belt and keep building from there.”
