Sabri pre-Stoke City | We must make the right decisions

Interviews
Sabri Lamouchi spoke to the press on Friday morning, discussing the atmosphere around the training ground after Wednesday's victory at Watford.

"It's always great after a win." the boss began. "The atmosphere was a little bit different after this one, because it was probably unexpected. I'm really happy to see all the smiles from all the people walking around this building.

"They deserve the three points, they deserve to be happy. But we need to keep going, because it's not finished. It's a massive win, and a massive message.

"For our fans, it was a very good message, so I hope there will be many of them in the stadium tomorrow to support us again. We need them, like always, but more now.

"The desire to play in the Championship next season is absolutely in my squad, and in our mind. We want to do everything we can to show them that we deserve to be where we are."

The gaffer turned his attention to our opponents, Stoke City, who arrive in South Wales occupying 17th position in the Championship table.

He said: "I remember a team in trouble at the start of the season. They changed their manager, Alex Neil, after a perfect job at Sunderland, and he's doing a perfect job in Stoke as well.

"They have a very good squad. I love the three midfielders, for example - Pearson, Smallbone and Laurent. They have a good striker as well, experienced defenders, a very good team.

"Probably they are safe and waiting until the end of the season, but they will not give us anything. They will try to disturb us, and try to play.

"Our fans know that this game is really important. They know what we have done in Watford is massive, and we must absolutely keep going, be pragmatic, and get points. We must achieve our goal as soon as possible."

With four games left to play this season, Sabri concluded with a fitness update ahead of Saturday's clash at CCS.

"Our players, Stoke players, all players in the league are exhausted, because tomorrow is the sixth game in three weeks.

"The end of the season is absolutely tough for all clubs, with suspension, injury, tired players. There are a lot of problems for all managers, squads and players. But, we must try to take the right decision and be positive.

"Callum RobinsonRubin Colwill and Connor Wickham will not be available for tomorrow. Jack Simpson, Jaden Philogene and Callum O'Dowda, we will see today.

"Rallsy, our captain, giving his heart for this Club, there is a question mark on him as well. We will see at the end of the session today."
