Colchester United currently sit eighth in the Professional Development League Group South standings, with 15 points from their four wins, three draws and eight losses.
The U’s concluded the 2018/19 campaign bottom of the Group South standings and had seven less points than they presently have in 2019/20, despite having played 13 more matches.

Liam Bailey has been Colchester United’s Lead U18 Coach since November 2016.
Only months before, Bailey had been appointed U18 Assistant Coach of the U’s, but took the top job when David Wright left to manage Norwich City’s U18 side.

The teams last met in November 2019 in the Professional Development League and the Bluebirds comfortably won 7-3 at Florence Park.
