U18 Match Preview | Hull City vs. Cardiff City

Cardiff City's U18 side travel to face the Tigers on Saturday morning - kick-off at 11am.

The young Bluebirds return to PDL action against Hull City, who have so far gone without a win in their campaign to-date.

Defeated 9-0 by Bristol City on the opening day of the season, the Tigers were subsequently narrowly beaten 1-0 by Millwall on August 27th.

Ahead of the match, U18s coach Tom Hutton reflected upon training over the last few weeks, with starting in Saturday's fixture being the target for the young Bluebirds:

"The boys have worked hard over the last few weeks and throughout pre-season, so without a match last weekend they'll arrive on Saturday having refreshed.

"They've been working really well in training towards their goals, and though we will have a few of the younger boys stepping up due to injury elsewhere, they already have the experience at this level, and now have another opportunity to step up to the challenge.

"We're all looking forward to kick-off, and it will be good to see how some of the younger players adapt to playing competitively for the U18 side."
