Daniel Griffiths

Last Time Out: Millwall 0-2 Cardiff City

City claimed all three points against Chris Perry’s side in February, as Dan Griffiths netted a double in an impressive 2-0 win away from home.

Sam Parsons replaced Ntazana Mayembe in the starting line-up, and the Bluebirds got off to an emphatic start as Griffiths broke the deadlock in the 8th minute, heading home from a pin-point corner.

Parsons would then proceed to find Griffiths with an expert delivery with 21 minutes played, and the striker made no mistake in doubling City’s advantage. Griffiths would go close to netting a third, however his effort in the 81st minute was cleared off the line. Despite this, City held on for a vital three points.
