The Addicks are currently unbeaten in six league matches, having most recently defeated league leaders Watford 3-0 at home.

Charlton Athletic's last trip to face the Bluebirds in South Wales was in October 2018, as the hosts defeated the Addicks 3-1 at Cardiff International Sports Campus.

Gong behind 11 minutes into the match, City did well to press back for the remainder, with Jacob Evans levelling the score minutes before the interval.

Ibrahim Meite struck home following a surging run just after the interval to put the Bluebirds ahead, before James Waite tapped in in the dying moments of the match to secure the three points for the hosts.
