Wycombe Wanderers Preview | Neil Harris

Interviews
The Bluebirds head to Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday, December 29th for their final league match of 2020.

City boss Neil Harris gave his thoughts ahead of the clash.

“In the last few games, we’ve let too many goals in.” Neil began. "We have to respond on against Wycombe on Tuesday, and then again at Rotherham on Saturday.

“We want to build momentum, we want to build some consistency. Other than winning four games in five, we haven’t had much consistency all season. We have to address that quickly.”

The Bluebirds return to action against Wycombe after a Boxing Day defeat to Brentford.

“We can take the real positives from the first 50 minutes against Brentford on Boxing Day, where we were excellent.

"We’ve also had a great away record since lockdown, one of the best in the country.

“But we have to move on quickly from Boxing Day, and we will move on quickly. That response will come at Wycombe."

Neil also provided a general fitness update ahead of Tuesday’s trip to Adams Park to face the Chairboys.

“I don’t want to focus on players that aren’t available, but in a tight squad every member is important for strength in depth, and opportunities to be able to change. Unfortunately, we’re not expecting anybody to come back into the group for the Wycombe game.”
