Text CCFC15 £5 to 70070 to pledge five pounds to the Foundation

Each member of Cardiff City’s 2014/15 Sky Bet Championship squad and senior coaching staff has pledged a day’s wage in support of Cardiff City Foundation’s second annual Foundation Day.

Cardiff City Foundation is the charitable arm of Cardiff City Football Club, which on an annual basis requires in excess of £1.5 million to operate. The Foundation plays a central role in improving the lives and opportunities of people in its local communities, providing for previously under-represented groups.



In 2014, Cardiff City’s inaugural Foundation Day raised in excess of £150,000 – an amount that greatly contributed to the Foundation being able to extend its reach to over 35,000 young people across South Wales.

The money raised during Foundation Day 2014 contributed towards a £500,000 increase in total income generated by the Foundation in 2013/14 – 86% of which, was spent on delivering charitable activities to communities across South Wales.
