On Tuesday, 15th March, the Football League confirmed that Cardiff City Football Club had been nominated for its prestigious ‘Johnstone’s Paint Community Club of the Year’ award for 2015.

The award will be presented to the winning club at the 2016 Football League Awards, to be held this year in Manchester.

Speaking in reference to the nomination, Cardiff City FC Executive Director and CEO, Ken Choo, said: “I’m delighted to see that the Football League has shortlisted Cardiff City Football Club for its ‘Community Club of the Year’ award.

“We’re very proud to have been nominated for this category in particular, and I think great credit should go to all staff here at the Club and within our Foundation for the efforts that they continue to make to improve the lives of others.”

Later this week, we will release further details in relation to our third annual Foundation Day – to be held in conjunction with our penultimate home fixture of the season against Bolton Wanderers on April 23rd.

Below are three videos that highlight the work done by the Football Club and Foundation. For more information on the Foundation visit cardiffcityfcfoundation.org.uk, whilst you can keep up with the Club’s Community work as a whole via our weekly YouTube round-up on Thursdays and cardiffcityfc.co.uk
