The Bluebirds will face Swindon Town at home in Round One of the 2026/27 Carabao Cup.
The tie will kick off at 3pm on Saturday, August 8th at Cardiff City Stadium.
The Carabao Cup Round One Draw took place live on Sky Sports News as part of the EFL’s Fixture Release Day.
Brian Barry-Murphy's men reached the Quarter Final stage of the competition last season, defeating Swindon Town, Cheltenham Town, Burnley and Wrexham before a narrow loss to Chelsea at a sold-out CCS.
Round One will feature 70 Clubs - the two winners from the Preliminary Round alongside the other 68 EFL Clubs - with the draw regionalised into Northern and Southern sections.
