The Opposition
Carlisle United are currently in 21st place in League Two, with 25 points earned from 26 matches played so far this season.
Goalkeeper Adam Collin is Carlisle United's captain, having joined the club for his second stint at Brunton Park in 2018. Making over 200 appearances for Workington between 2004-09, Collin joined Carlisle United initially as they played in League One.
During a four-year spell with the Cumbrians, the 'keeper made 159 appearances in all competitions, and won the 2011 Football League Trophy with the side as they defeated Brentford 1-0 in the Final at Wembley Stadium.
Leaving Carlisle in 2013 for Rotherham United, Collin helped the side to a promotion to the Championship at the end of the 2013-14 season, and later went on loan to Aberdeen before transferring to Notts County. Following two seasons with the Magpies, he returned to Cumbria, where he has been the club's first-choice goalkeeper since.
In the Hot Seat
Chris Beech has been Carlisle United's head coach since November 2019. Beginning his career as a player for his hometown of Blackpool, Beech also enjoyed spells playing for Hartlepool United, Huddersfield Town and Rochdale, later serving in Rochdale's youth setup as a coach.
Being appointed as caretaker manager for the Dale for six matches from December 2011 before returning to his role in the youth side, Beech was confirmed as assistant manager to Keith Hill for six years between 2013-19.
In his ten games in charge of the Cumbrians so far, Beech has seen his side win two, draw five and lose three in all competitions, including their previous meeting with the Bluebirds earlier in January.
Last Time Out
The Cumbrians remained in 21st place in the League Two table following their 3-0 defeat to Plymouth Argyle on Saturday, January 11th. Hosting the Pilgrims at Brunton Park, Luke Jephcott put the visitors ahead in the 34th minute, before then doubling the lead shortly after the interval.
Ryan Hardie extended the lead to three goals with 15 minutes remaining, which went unanswered by the hosts, with defender Aaron Hayden being sent off in added time with a second yellow card.
The visitors went on to claim the three points on the road, and their twelfth out of a possible fifteen from previous matches, taking them to fifth place.
Captain's thoughts
Speaking ahead of the replay, captain Sean Morrison said: "The FA Cup is huge for me, personally. I've not had a big cup run with the Club yet, and it is always nice to get further along and get the chance to take on bigger teams.
"Carlisle will be a difficult game. Some of the boys haven't been up to Brunton Park, and it will be a tough place to go, against a side that are looking to cause an upset.
"We'll have to get right at them. I know that the boys will want to get a proper cup run going, which will be great for the Club."
