13/02/2018 | Cardiff City 2-0 Bolton Wanderers

Armand Traoré's only City strike came during a 2-0 win over Bolton Wanderers during the 2017/18 promotion campaign.

The left-back, on-loan from Nottingham Forest, gave us the advantage early on at Cardiff City Stadium, following some fine footwork to beat his man and get a shot away.

Bluebirds skipper Sean Morrison added the second before the interval, reacting superbly his original saved effort to head in at the second attempt.

City: Etheridge, Peltier, Ecuele Manga, Morrison, Traoré, Grujic, Ralls, Paterson, Hoilett (Bamba 88'), J.Ward (Wildschut 13'), Zohore (Pilkington 84'). Subs Not Used: Murphy, Bennett, Damour, Feeney.

Then City boss Neil Warnock said: "I thought we were very thorough at the back and obviously took our chances. They were two good goals: the great finish for Armand [Traore] and then the bravery of [Sean] Morrison to get the second typifies him as captain."
