Right-back Perry arrived at Cardiff City Stadium from Crewe Alexandra on 19th January 2021, signing a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Bluebirds.

Having joined the Crewe Alexandra Academy in 2004, Perry spent ten years rising through the club’s youth ranks before signing his first professional contract in 2014. Ng made his debut for the Railwaymen the following year, and soon became an established first-team player at Gresty Road.

Named as Alexandra’s captain in 2019, Ng was included in the PFA League Two Team of the Year for 2019/20 following a number of impressive performances. The defender netted two goals and recorded five assists during the campaign, helping Crewe earn automatic promotion to League One.

The 25-year-old, who has recorded over 200 senior appearances, became City’s second recruit of 2021, signing a contract with the Bluebirds until the summer of 2024.
