Having joined the Academy at U8 level, Ronan Kpakio made his First Team debut in a Carabao Cup tie with Bristol Rovers in August 2024.

The right-back signed a professional contract with the Club in July 2024, and made his first league start on the final day of the 2024/25 season at Norwich City.

Kpakio became a key member of the City squad at the beginning of the  2025/26 campaign, scoring his first senior goal in a 2-1 victory over Peterborough United on the opening day of the season.

Having represented Wales at all levels up to U19, Ronan made his senior international debut in a friendly fixture against Canada in September 2025.
