A stalwart at the back for the Bluebirds, Pelts helped his side to a nineteenth clean sheet on Sunday afternoon as Neil Warnock's men secured their Premier League status for the 2018/19 campaign.
"It's a dream come true for me at this stage of my career," said Pelts.
"There's a great bunch of lads out there; great backroom staff. I'm just absolutely buzzing."
