City fought back to ensure their title lifting afternoon came with a win, defeating Swansea City, 3-1, at Cardiff City Stadium.

The Bluebirds raised the trophy following the game, confirming an unbeaten 2022/23 campaign, thanks to goals from Lily BillinghamRhianne Oakley & Zoe Atkins.

Despite a dominant opening half hour from the hosts, it was the away side who took the lead on 36 minutes. Katy Hosford with a powerful curling strike from just inside the box.

They didn't have long to celebrate though, with City levelling four minutes later. Lily Billingham, one of City's standout players in the opening half, took aim from the edge of the area, with the ball deflecting over Claire Skinner into the net.

The Bluebirds took a deserved advantage after an hour. Rhianne Oakley troubled her former side from the opening moments and she got on the scoresheet, sweeping home from 18-yards.

Iain Darbyshire's side secured a final day win with just over ten minutes remaining as substitute Zoe Atkins burst into the box, took the ball around a defender and slotted into the net.
