Going into the match, the Bluebirds are on a five-game winning run, most recently defeating Port Talbot Town 2-1 away from home thanks to a late winner from Danielle Broadhurst.

City are currently second on the WPWL table, having only lost one match so far during their current campaign, being defeated 2-0 by Sunday's opponents in October. 

Last time out in their League Cup campaign, Cardiff City defeated Abergavenny Town 5-1 on December 1st, as Catherine Walsh and Kate Jeremiah each picked up braces, with Danielle Broadhurst netting once.
